I visited Glossop branch on 27th March, and really enjoyed an excellent afternoon. The display of members work from workshops, competitions and meetings was stunning, and I would commend the branch for participating in Guild events.

Glossop also displayed their Rainbow Squares, the branch members travelling books, photo albums and the Regional Travelling Book.

Terry Murphy CEO and Muriel Campbell Chair of the Trustees were invited, along with myself as Regional Chair and Val Coleshaw previous Regional Chair. Terry gave a short speech about the Guild and their vision for the future and also the history of setting up Glossop branch, He then presented a scroll to Ann Cornes (Chair) to commemorate 15th years of a highly successful branch.

We then had a scrummy cream tea, a raffle and then beautifully decorated cake was cut, providing a generous helping for us all!!!
