I attended  Macclesfield & District meeting on 18th October, along with Ann Cornes. We had a lovely day, speaking to members and listening to their speaker Linda Hume who is a felter.

I took along the Regional Peacock and travelling book, as their members find it difficult to travel to Regional Events.

The members were very pleased to feel included, and hopefully they will be able to attend Regional Day/AGM next year.

Instead of being involved in the 100 Hearts, the members decided to make a branch banner based on the Suffragette’s colours, and including panels decorated with every members name. This was a lovely idea and the members are rightly proud of their achievements, and will display it at all their meetings and events in the future.

Below are some photos of the day-
