The young generally have their first taste of stitching at junior school unless they are from a family of stitchers, where they are taught from a young age.  The Embroiderers’ Guild have several branches in the UK that accommodate the young.  These young are our future generation of stitchers and embroiderers’.  If you would like to introduce your child, grandchild or family member to the art of stitch, please check out which branches have a section for the Young Embroiderers’.

CRITERIA FOR YOUNG EMBROIDERERS’

  •  Junior Stitchers aged 5 and upwards and family members who support them.
  •  Textile Students from 12 to 24.

Three of our branches have Young Embroiderers groups  – click on branch name for more information
